Especially for the occasion, the West Coast Big Band will put on a dazzling swinging theater show in De Theaterbakkerheij with Franklin Brown (including the Eurovision Song Contest 1996). Think of the 50’s and 60’s, Las Vegas, the swinging crooner music of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis and Nat King Cole.

This concert is a one-time try-out for the RTV Rijnmond Bigband Show that will take place later this month. The presentation will be in the hands of Bart Nolles (including RTV Rijnmond, RTL7, etc.).

Franklin Brown participated with great success as a Dutch candidate in the Eurovision Song Contest of 1996 with the song “De eerste keer”. In addition, he has been known for years for his phenomenal interpretations of the “crooner repertoire” (think of Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, etc.) accompanied by real big bands.
