Yesterday we participated in the Top Class of the International Big Band Competition in Hoofddorp. It was a nice performance of the repertoire we are working on lately (a.o. Bob Brookmeyer, Bert Joris, Frans Elsen and Francy Boland). We got quite a few positive reactions from the many musicians walking around. Unfortunately it was not good enough to reach the finals. Still, we are proud of what we achieved and we will continue this good vibe for the many exciting events we have in the remainder of this year.
